Farm Mission Statement:

Our breeding goal  is to raise alpacas that maintain micron counts of Royal (<19) or Baby (20-23) year after year and shear 10 lbs on their 2nd year and after.  We track and monitor our heard's fleece statistics so we can make sound breeding decisions.

Farm Description:

Loess Hills Alpacas is a 40 acre farm located in the beautiful Loess Hills of western Iowa, near Missouri Valley, and just 35 miles north of the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area. We breed and raise top quality alpacas. We offer sales and boarding services. Whether you’re new to the business or well established, give us a call and set-up a farm visit.

Farm Directions:

Take I29 to Missouri Valley exit. Take Hwy 30 through Missouri Valley to F58. F58 only goes right and is on a big curve after the Hwy Maintenance shed. About 2 ˝ miles outside of Missouri Valley. Take F58 about 3 ˝ miles until you get to Orleans Lane and we are the last house on that dead end road.
