Farm Mission Statement:

Maple Tree Farm, Inc.

To provide quality breeding stock to breeders at any level of the climb to producing the Elite alpaca. You will be able to find animals from breed-up stock to the finest in genetcally sound animals. Our goal is to produce a genetically correct animal. Correct in fiber, conformation and temperment. As a family farm we are dedicated to quality alpacas that you can interact with and can see at your end of the pasture instead of the farthest corner.

 

Farm Description:

Maple Tree Farm is located in North Central Iowa. The alpacas here are cared for by Tom, Jenny and daughter Sami. You will find our farm in the heart of Americas' breadbasket. It lies 30 minutes south of Interstate 90 or 30 minutes West of Interstate 35. You won't find a lot of hustle and bustle here, only the peaceful humming of a small herd of quality alpacas. There is no rat race but plenty of time to sit under the maple trees and watch our cria play.

Alpaca breeders from across the country share their secrets. Learn about training tips, marketing, fencing, showing and selling your alpacas. Better yet submit your own tips and tricks.
