Farm Mission Statement:

Our mission is to raise high quality alpaca.

Farm Description:

Welcome to Rockford Bay Ranch! With almost 40 alpaca at the moment, plus a huge handful of horses, goats, sheep, llamas, cats, chickens, and a dog; our ranch is full of lively activity and laughter as we go around caring for the blessings God has entrusted to us.

Huacaya alpacas are gentle, inquisitive, and cute and will capture your hearts. Their fleece is almost as soft as cashmere and is hypoallergenic as it does not contain lanolin in it.  Their fleece is so soft that even just to touch it is a treasure.

The ranch is owned and maintained by Dan and Kathryn Pinkerton, and their 9 children. We take care of our treasures with pride, joy, and love. We will welcome and your family almost anytime. Just call us first to let us know you are coming (208-769-9999) and don’t forget to bring your camera!

Although we are somewhat new with the alpaca industry, we are enjoying the experiences so far and have learned a lot from these majestic animals.
