As alpacas age, their fleece becomes coarser, crimp broadens and may disappear altogether, but superior alpacas such as El Toro retain their crimp, low micron count and exquisite handle. He is a superior breeding male. El Toro's award winning cria are easy to spot in any show ring since he stamps out carbon copies. For this we have given him the nickname Xerox. That's top-quality genetics at work. El Toro represents a picture of the herd that diligent breeders can build here in the U.S.
