Ideal Alpaca Community Welcome Letter
October 26, 2005
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Adrian Stewart and I raise alpacas on a small farm, Mulberry Alpacas in Southern Oregon. I moved here from England with my family in the summer of 2004, so you can imagine that the last 12 months have been fairly exciting one way or another!
More importantly from your perspective, however, is the fact that I am also the editor of the Ideal Alpaca Community Newsletter, the first issue of which will be coming your way very soon.
In New Zealand the Maori community say everyone has a tattoo, its just that not everyone decides to color theirs in... and I believe everyone in the Ideal Alpaca Community has at least one great alpaca article or story to tell, but rarely gets the opportunity to tell that story.
Well that has just changed! As editor of the Ideal Alpaca Community Newsletter, I invite you to submit that great alpaca article you have tucked away some place and share it with all the other IAC members.
Your article can be about any alpaca related topic, whether it is husbandry, handling or even alpaca humour. Dont worry about spelling, grammar or layout ...thats my role. If you have images to accompany your article, so much the better.
Within the IAC we have hundreds of years of alpaca experience so lets share that around and become the best we can be. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon
Adrian Stewart
