Farm Mission Statement:

We believe the alpaca’s unique, incredibly soft durable fiber will ensure the long-term viability of the North American alpaca market.  Our aim is for continued improvement of the domestic herd and to support an alpaca textile industry that will sustain alpaca breeders well into the next century.

Farm Description:

Foxrun Farms Alpacas is a small family run farm. We work hard in order to offer only the finest animals and services. We know each of our animals and we care for them ourselves. That means that we are familiar with their health histories and their welfare is our first concern. We take care in their breeding and monitor the births of their crias ourselves. We try to place each and every alpaca that we sell with caring owners.

When you make the decision to purchase alpacas you should choose a breeder who will offer you both pre and post purchase support. You need a breeder with the knowledge to answer your questions, teach you the basic alpaca care skills and who will help you get started, and more important be there to offer you support after the sale has taken place. You should choose a breeder who will be willing to help you get started marketing your alpacas and can also offer you brokering services if you decide not to sell your alpacas yourself. We at Foxrun Farms Alpacas offer personalized service and we have a genuine interest in helping you succeed in the alpaca business.

We are very aware that our reputation is our best asset and we strive to make sure that all of our customers are treated the way we would like to be treated.

You should choose Foxrun Farms because:

  • We provide you with assistance in choosing quality foundation breeding stock.

  • We provide you with both pre-sale and post-sale support to help you get started caring for your alpacas and continue in their care in the months that follow. We will teach you all the basic alpaca care skills and we will be happy to address any other questions you may have such as barn and fence issues or marketing questions.

  • We provide boarding at a nominal fee with the first 90 days free for any alpaca purchased from us.

  • We provide long term financing for up to five years with 20 - 25% down and low simple fixed interest.

  • We provide a live birth guarantee with the purchase of a pregnant female. That means that if the cria is not delivered alive, or does not live for at least 30 days, we will re-breed the female to one of our herdsires of your choice at no additional cost to you.

  • A free breeding to one of our herdsires is included with the purchase of a non-pregnant female.

  • Free delivery for breeding stock within 500 miles of the farm.

  • The purchase of a stud quality male includes a warrantee of reproductive capability.
